These Terms & Conditions (Terms) govern your use of the Sky Energy Groups website and your engagement of our services, including energy assessments, government rebate assistance, and the supply and installation of upgrades such as heat pump hot water systems, solar panels and battery storage. By using our site or services, you agree to these Terms.
1. About us

2. Services and eligibility
- We provide assessments, quotations, supply and installation of energy efficiency and renewable energy products, and may assist with state or federal rebate programs (e.g., VEU, Solar Victoria, SRES).
- Eligibility criteria for rebates and incentives vary by state and program and may change. We are not a government body and do not guarantee approval of any application.
- Quotes and recommendations are based on information provided by you and our site assessment. Final scope may be subject to distributor/network approvals and compliance checks.
3. Quotes, pricing and certificates
- Unless stated otherwise, quotes are valid for 14 days and may change if site conditions differ, product availability changes, or regulatory fees apply (e.g., metering, switchboard upgrades).
- Any Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs) or similar certificates and rebates related to supplied products may be assigned to us or our accredited provider as part of the pricing. If you retain certificates, the price will increase accordingly.
- Additional works (e.g., roof or electrical rectification) are excluded unless itemised in writing.
4. Installation
- Installations are performed by licensed and accredited installers. You authorise safe access to the property on agreed dates and will ensure the area is free of hazards.
- We may reschedule due to weather, safety, or supplier constraints. We are not liable for delays outside our reasonable control.
- You are responsible for ensuring structural suitability of mounting locations and for obtaining any required owner/strata approvals.
5. Payment and title
- Payment terms are as stated on your quote or invoice. Title to goods passes upon full payment. Late payments may incur reasonable recovery costs.
- If finance is used, settlement must occur before or at installation as required by the finance terms.
6. Warranties
- Product warranties are provided by the manufacturer; details are supplied with your products. We provide a workmanship warranty for installation as stated on your quote (typically 5 years unless noted otherwise).
- Warranty claims require reasonable cooperation and access. Misuse, neglect, unauthorised modifications or external events (e.g., grid faults, storms) are excluded.
7. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information for assessments, rebate applications and installation planning.
- Follow product and safety instructions, and perform any routine maintenance described by the manufacturer.
- Notify us promptly of changes that may affect eligibility or installation (e.g., property access, ownership, electrical works).
8. Communications and WhatsApp
By providing your contact details, you consent to us contacting you about assessments, quotes, bookings and support, including via WhatsApp Business if you opt in. Message frequency varies; message/data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP or contacting us.
9. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for failure to comply with a guarantee is limited, at our option, to re‑supplying the services or paying the cost of having the services re‑supplied, or the repair/replacement of goods or the cost of repair/replacement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss arising from events outside our reasonable control.
10. Intellectual property
Website content (including text, graphics and logos) is owned by or licensed to Sky Energy Groups. You must not reproduce or use it except as permitted by law or with our written consent.
11. Privacy
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Each party submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and the Federal Court of Australia sitting in Victoria.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with the updated date above.
